Bühne von Guns N' Roses eingestürzt

Bereits am 14. März ist in Rio aufgrund heftigen Regens die Bühne von Guns N' Roses eingestürzt. Verletzt wurden zahlreiche Crew-Mitglieder, über die Schwere der Verletzungen ist bislang wenig bekannt.

There fortunately are no fatalities but there are injuries from both our camp and Rio crews the extent of which is not known at present. The Rio Fire Dept is evacuating crews out of the venue to avoid further injuries with the heavy rains and winds. Details are just coming in. Also a truck w/part of The Sebastian Bach Band’s gear has rolled on the trip from Sao Paulo to Rio what is our understanding several times and we are awaiting details on the safety of the driver at this time. Man soll es nicht für möglich halten, aber nach dem 14. März in Rio und dem 1. April in Mexico City ist am 9. April in Costa Rica erneut eine Bühne eingestürzt:

Guns N' Roses scrapped a Friday night, April 9 show in Costa Rica following a reported stage collapse. Local reports suggest the weight of the band's big screen, suspended above the stage, and water damage combined to cause the problem at San Jose's Estadio Ricardo Saprissa.

Nachtrag 12. April:
Nach Angaben von Axl Rose wurden bei dem Unglück am 9. April keine Personen verletzt. Auch in Costa Roca soll starker Regen zum Einsturz der Bühne beigetragen haben.
